Is surfing Safe?
Absolutely! We use Soft-tops surfboards, and they user friendly and are generally safer because of their soft deck and soft fins. In addition, our experienced instructors cover everything you’ll need to know during the beach lesson to ensure your safety when you are out in the water. We also keep our semi-private lessons to a safe student to instructor ratio to ensure that all your needs are met for learning to surf.

At the SeaSide Ryde, your safety and enjoyment are our main priorities. Our coastal weather conditions change from day to day but are generally safe. That being said, we also can’t predict the weather, so our philosophy for adverse conditions is: “If in doubt, we don’t go out.”
